However, I noticed that the gem eyes don't do much when engaged in melee - which ofc btw can be useful to know even for people not using Azura, like Cyra jump in to engage them. If anyone is trying Azura, she is so great bc she can target enemies to disable your foes, rather than you, so denying them whilst enabling you. Overall I think there's enough variety that the non-traditional meta of Connie/Raida/Koi won't dominate. I'd imagine you only get one pull per wave with him, as again, ranged enemies don't give him ample time to run away after a pull. I haven't tried him, but Narlax is so weak in W5 that the idea of trying him in W7 never occurred to me. Raida is great, but the enemies are ranged and do a lot of damage, even more than he can heal against.

Koi still does decent damage, but his dragon form doesn't last a full wave. But you're right that Connie is key and melee is not worth it (unless you're invincible via Cyra/Elara/Lancelot's immunity rune). I suspect Fee/Connie/Mabyn have a chance. When enemies get past barracks pull them away with narlax and then you have to be really quick to get him to safely. Use cyra for her powerful attack then immediately put her back to safety. The only hero you should manually use is either one of the goddesses or narlax. ( I still don't understand towers so this is heroes only) Put your heroes far back but not too far. Choke point should be two barracks and then range.
